Upon arrival at Velana International Airport, our airport representative at the terminal exit holding “The Westin Maldives Miriandhoo Resort” placard will welcome you. Please identify yourselves to the representative and after doing so the representative will personally accompany you until your departure to the resort. In order for timely exit from the terminal, we urge you not to carry prohibited items such as alcoholic beverages, religious images/idols and food items containing pork.
It will take approximately 30 minutes for the seaplane / domestic flight check-in and transfers to respective terminal. The maximum baggage allowance per person is 20 Kg’s (Seaplane) and 25 Kg’s (Domestic Flight) for checked luggage and 5 kilograms for carry-on luggage. Any excess luggage is chargeable at USD 5 per kilogram payable at the airport. Guests opting for Domestic Transfers will land in Dharavandhoo Island, from where our representative will greet you and transfer you to the speedboat. Estimated transfer time from Dharavandhoo Island to The Westin Maldives is 20 minutes (depending on sea conditions).
Transport selection is outsourced & travelers approve that resort will not be held responsible for redirecting, rescheduling or cancellations owing to aviation regulations and/or bad weather/sea conditions. Please travel with valid insurances to cover yourselves with any physical/financial harm.

4D3N Stay in Overwater Villa
The price of the stay is certainly one of the more expensive ones that we have. Looking back, we will definitely make the same decision to stay in Westin. My wife and I truly enjoyed the personalised service provided. Shoutout to Dulat for attending to us during our stay. He has been most attentive and proactive to assisting us. We enjoyed his companionship. The food is fantastic and we can see variation in the menu from day to day. Quality of food is top notched. The villa is wonderful. Not just the amount of space that we have, the view is great and we can feel that it is brilliantly designed. Overall, the service by the entire crew is great. From offering cut fruits when we are at the poolside to giving us good recommendation on where we can view sunset, we really truly enjoyed our stay in Westin.
One area where there could be some improvement is on the return to Male airport in particular for the check in process. We waited for someone to attend to us for about 15 mins before we and other couples proceed to collect our luggage and head over to the check in counter or security side. Because of the queues, it actually becomes very tight for us and we only managed to get a quick bite before heading to the gates.

What a gem of a find, we are blessed to stay at many luxury hotels, this is undoubtedly the best service we have ever experienced, from Vijay the GM, to the directors laurent and Deepak to the staff, the best outstanding service we have ever experienced.
